Yes, pain-free dentistry has come to our world at the hands of this marvelous new invention: Healozone.

Diagnosis

Here is how it works:

The patient walks in and has a seat. The dentist uses a non-invasive caries-detection system such as diagnodent (available at our clinic) to identify the teeth that are in need of treatment.

Healing

Teeth in need of treatment are subjected to a concentrated dosage of ozone, deactivating 99% of all bacteria and neutralizing their respective acids.

A reduction fluid is then used to neutralize remaining acid, and add minerals and fluoride. At this point the dentist is done with his work!

The patient may then leave the operatory, having experienced no pain, drilling or anaesthetics.

Remineralization

The patient is given a Patient kit for use at home. The kit allows the patient to remineralize the treated teeth and restore them to top condition.

According to Kavo, complete remineralisation takes between 4 and 12 weeks.
